This Privacy Policy applies to the Dictation - Write and Learn mobile application (the “Application”), developed by Dhaval Sachdeva (the “Service Provider”) and provided as a free service on an “AS IS” basis.

The Application does not collect precise location information from your mobile device.
The Application allows users to capture images using the camera or select images from the device gallery for the purpose of extracting text and creating dictation exercises.
When you choose to use these features, the selected or captured images may be processed through third-party services, including Google Cloud Vision API, in order to perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and extract text from the image.
The Service Provider does not use these images for any purpose other than providing the OCR and dictation functionality of the Application. The Service Provider does not claim to permanently store your images on its own servers after processing, except as may be necessary for temporary processing, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or security purposes.
The Application may use machine learning or AI-enabled services provided by third parties, such as OCR/text-recognition services, in order to detect and extract text from images submitted by the user.

The Service Provider retains user-provided and automatically collected information only for as long as necessary to provide the Application, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support legitimate business and security needs.

The Service Provider takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the information processed through the Application. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
The Application is not knowingly directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required by applicable law, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization where required. If the Service Provider becomes aware that such information has been collected unintentionally, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it.
You may choose not to provide certain information, but doing so may limit some features of the Application. For example, if you do not grant camera or photo access, the OCR and image-based dictation features may not work properly.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will post any updates on this page. Continued use of the Application after changes become effective will be treated as acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
